My stay at Sevcan Hotel was marked by a blend of convenience and considerable frustration. The proximity to the airport is undoubtedly a plus, making travel easier. but the overall condition of the hotel left much to be desired. The service had some bright spots, especially with cleaning staff, though check-in was disorganized and disappointing.

The room was spacious, but the lack of maintenance was evident. It had a strange odor and some furnishings were worn out. I found cigarette burns on the bed coverings, which was quite off-putting.

While the cleaning staff were friendly and helpful, the front desk service was lacking. The clerk seemed indifferent to my concerns and the check-in process was chaotic, further tainting my experience.

The hotel is conveniently close to the airport, making it a practical choice for quick layovers. However, getting to cultural sites and nightlife was a hassle, especially during peak traffic, making it less ideal for leisurely exploration.

Breakfast options were quite basic and didn't match the enticing variety presented in the promotional materials. However, I appreciated the nearby McDonald's for a quick meal.

The hotel had some decent facilities, like an outdoor pool, but they felt underused and outdated. I noticed no effort to replenish basic room amenities, such as shampoo, which was disappointing.

I found the Sevcan Hotel to have some good aspects, like its decent security and proximity to the airport, making it a viable choice for travelers in transit. However, the location posed a challenge for exploring Istanbul, especially if you're looking to enjoy the cultural sites or nightlife, which added extra transportation costs. The air conditioning wasn’t very effective, and I missed having a simple hot water carafe in my room for coffee. Overall, it has its strengths, but also several drawbacks that made my stay less than ideal.

The proximity to the airport was a plus for me, but the dining options could definitely use some improvement. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it for anything more than a quick stopover.

The location was decent as it was close to the airport, which made for a quick trip in and out. However, getting into the more interesting parts of the city would require a long taxi ride, adding to the overall cost of my stay.

Dining options were extremely limited, and the room service menu left a lot to be desired. Breakfast consisted mainly of boiled eggs and a few spreads, which didn't quite meet my expectations.

While I felt secure during my time there, the overall experience lacked warmth and professionalism, especially during check-in. Unfortunately, the room conditions compelled me to leave immediately after checking in, searching for a better option nearby.
